Jeremy and Freak pump out the softball talk in our 26th show for the viewer-listeners.

With the time gap in between shows, we go back in time (without Marty McFly) and Jeremy talks about his experience at the Busch Classic and making it to the elusive day 3 of a 3 day tourney. He shows his team ASP some love on the focus and determination it takes to get to the end of a big tourney. In Freak details his debut on the Dirty Bird Nation front as the DBN (Half Heavy) went to Rolla for Julyfest and walked out undefeated with a fistful of cash to go with a team photo to capture the guys showing off the new grey jerseys. From there we chip in a few mentions of Joey Chestnut and the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest and the WWE PPV Great Balls of Fire. Then we seemlessly turn the page to Redbird Talk and what pieces from the current Cardinals team may be in play at the trading deadline and who realistically could be coming to town. Token mentions of the Indians and Rays be fore we close out strong with Jeremy trying to answer the most random trivia ever!

Jeremy, Freak and Dustin hit the ground running in our 25th show for the viewer-listeners.

The triad of softball awesomeness sits down to re-hash our softball weekends before we slip into something a bit weirder. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out the Facebook Live feed and the promo pix from the Sports Dungeon. We break down the Blues net-gain from their trades and the impact of losing David Perron in the 'Golden...Knights' draft. The Cardinals are looking for a 'landing strip' in this season's so far unfriendly skies. The show is filled with all sorts of subtext and hard to follow Jeremyisms. But power through and play along as Jeremy takes on Freak in round 1 of Trivia and then Jeremy goes toe to toe with Dustin in round 2 of Trivia.

The Sports Stalkers team is proud to bring you a special interview with NSA Area Director (and player) Derek Billups. Derek gives us some insights on the state of NSA softball and some inside scoop on how NSA is looking to rebuild their presence in the area after Sun Valley in Pevely has stopped hosting events. Derek talks about NSA's structure and evening the playing field in relation to other associations. He also talks about being on the player side and the huge difference of being a director and the resources, time, patience and planning that goes into each event. With an eye on the future, Derek and NSA wants a welcoming, family atmosphere to make the product attractive to families and new players to help re-elevate NSA's profile in the region with three main parks as the focus: Belle Fountaine, Peruque Valley Park and Warrenton Athletic Complex. Plug in and give us a listen.

Jeremy and Freak volley back and forth in our 24th show for the viewer-listeners.

We dive right in talking about the softball happenings from Saturday the 17th at Wapelhorst Park in St Charles, Missouri played under USSSA rules. ADL and Sandlot walk out undefeated in their respective divisions (D & E - yes I said D & E). We implore the UTrip powers that be, to reconsider the punitive inning-ending-out scenario in lieu of the popular fan favorite homerun(s). From there we wish #33 a Happy Birthday - not that #33 - but another fellow 33 in Chris Beil. The discussion makes it's way to how can the Cardinals be fixed and the season's hopes be saved. A game of hot potato breaks out on a handful of topics before we settle in for: Jeremy on the hot seat for sports trivia. In rounding out the show, we challenge our listeners to reach out to their favorite tattoo shops for a little free publicity. Freak and Jeremy agree to go under the inking needle for some fresh body art live on the show...time will tell if we get any takers.

Jeremy, Freak and Dustin present our 23rd show - back with the three man crew!

We run the triangle offense once again with the return of the best board guy wearing an ASP hat. We discuss our softball weekend and move into the ramifications of your softball reputation. Good, bad or just beginning...

Along the way we congratulate the Pittsburgh Penguins (and Sid The Kid) for capping their cup run and speculate heavily that the Golden State Warriors are next up at the podium.  With the Cardinals trying to surface in the NL Central we discuss the shake up of the coaching staff, team and where they can possibly go from here (see our January show where we corrected the Blues problem). Of course we interact with our fans and friends via Facebook Live, then take it strong to the goal with Trivia for a sports knowledge fight between Jeremy and Freak.

Jeremy and Freak present our 22nd show for your approval.

We pull on those elbow length gloves and get in-depth talking about tourney softball and how a group can bond together...and conversely what can pull them apart. Simultaneously podcasting and streaming Facebook Live, we interact with friends, local and abroad, while talking about the sport we love (softball). So as not to be one trick ponies, we compare the current plight of the St Louis Cardinals to where the St Louis Blues were at the end of Janaury and suggest: Maybe it's time to play the kids. From there we round the bases talking about WWE, the Stanley Cup Finals, the Golden State Warrior NBA Finals, the Women's College World Series Finals, a smidge of golf (Tiger Droppings) and finish strong with Jeremy on the hot seat for the last two segments: Who the Hell is That? and (sports) Trivia.

Plug in and listen to us at the gym, in the truck, on the throne or wherever gives you that Oh Yeah, Snap Into A Slim Jim feeling.

Jeremy sits down for a phone interview with Major (Softball) Player Colby Hughes to talk about his four years of conference ball and one year of Major Ball. Colby is a St Louis Cardinals fans who roots for the St Louis Blues and also the Denver Broncos. Colby has a humorous take on superrstitions. The interview is a little over a half an hour and special thanks to Jeff Pruis from NSA for help setting it up.

Plug in and enjoy.

Jeremy and Freak welcome you to our 21st show!
We talk about the passing of Chris Cornell and move into a discussion about Sun Valley Sports Complex in Pevely closing. If we had the resources what we would do to acquire the park and update it for modern times and Make Softball Great Again. Of course we also talk some Birds on the Bat, The Cleveland Indians, NHL playoffs, NBA playoffs, WWE, MMA and a little sprinkle of others topics including softball. We introduce a new segment called: Who the Hell is that? where Jeremy tries to match wrestling personalities with their real names. And last but not least...the return of trivia!

If yesterday was leg day, then plug in because today is brain day! Sort of.

Good day to our listeners and a shout out to all of the Mothers in our lives on this Mother's Day. Freak and Jeremy talk about the buzz and crackle surrounding local softball teams and their drama. We also cover the steady but not flashy Cardinals and the sinking, excuse-filled ship that is the Chicago Cubs. We touch on some ideas and preferences on tattoos and our tattoo artists. There is no trivia this week but never fear, it will return next show. So buckle into your truck or smart car and let us fill your head with some silly and maybe thought provoking conversations flavored with our favorite sports.

Join Freak and Jeremy as we catch up on two weeks worth of topics including our collective softball obsessions. Jeremy's pick for the Blues to win 16 postseason games came up 62.5% short but the Blues have a lot to be positive about heading into "next season". We take a momentary breather from bashing Kolten Wong to acknowledge the Cardinals and them overcoming A LOT of errors to be right there with the Cubs...and the Reds. Mother Nature finally turned off the waterworks for a few days and we were able to get out and play some ball. Saturday was a USSSA qualifying event and Sunday was the Kayla Walter's Suicide Awareness Benefit at BMAC. Great weather and a chance once again for the softball community in St Louis to come together to remember one of their own and collectively wrap their arms around a family. So crank us up in the car (or truck), while at the gym, in the background while you are doing the household bills or wherever you like. Sports Stalkers podcast is here for your entertainment. We may not be suitable for young impressionable children or drama-mongers but eff it. Let's go!
